Compensation:
Salary starting from $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience 


 

Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruiter is responsible sourcing and screening qualified candidates, and ensuring alignment with organizational requirements. They coordinate interviews, assess candidate suitability, support onboarding initiatives, maintain accurate recruitment records, and contribute to strengthening the organization’s employer brand. This is a fully in office role, located in the heart of Toronto Downtown.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment.
  • Organize and conduct phone screens and in-person interviews.
  • Assist/organize with the onboarding process/orientation.
  • Support new hires during orientation and assist with initial integration into the organization.
  • Actively scout for new and efficient sources for generating a qualified candidate pool.
  • Actively source and engage with potential applicants via social media platforms and job boards.
  • Assist with retention strategies and planning.
  • Maintain communication with all relevant personnel/departments.
  • Ensure all recruitment documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and keep records of candidates.
  • Additional duties as required.


 

Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Prior experience with healthcare recruitment would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with high volume recruitment
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, communication, and conflict resolution skills to deal effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suites, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
